For some reason my child, who has talked in complete sentences since he was a year old, has decided to revert back to baby talk lately. It's been the last month or so, and I'm sure it has something to do with Lucy coming, but Nate and I are out of ideas on what to do. We tell him we won't respond unless he uses big boy words, I spent at least thirty minutes one day talking in nothing but baby talk to him so he would know how pointless it is, among other things...
Today Nate thought he'd quiz him down. "Little Man, where did you hear that word you're saying? Where did it come from?"
Milo, always logical, simply responded, "From my mouth, Daddy."
Oh no, I don't think that's the case! I think he's just realizing that a new baby is coming and is having a little "phase." He also told me the other day, "I a baby," as he was crawling across the floor. Hmmmm...
